Bogner Ecstasy 1. B 1. 00. W Tube Guitar Amp Head with EL3.
UBERSCHALL. Uberschall is the German word for Super Sonic and we designed this amp primarily for extreme, heavy and aggressive styles of music. Detuned or baritone.
Comet Black. Clean/Green: The clean channel is nice and warmth, is not like a twin reverb but still can be very fenderish. Pedals sounds great in this channel. The thing that I didn't like is that this channel have a lot of compression but it sounds very good. Blue Channel: This Channel is more than a heavy overdrive channel than a distortion for me.
Is very harmonic with a lot of dynamics. You can get great Rock n Roll and heavy Rock tones from it. What I didn't like is that this channel is a little bit Boomy(to much bass) so You need to keep the bass knob to 1. Another important thing about this channel is that you NEED to put Gain on it. Gain should be at least to 2pm, otherwise the channel get boomy and God knows why it sounds bad without gain. Red Channel. This Channel have the same EQ than the Blue channel with an individual gain and volume. Very nice heavy tones.
Don't put the gain more than 3pm otherwise the distortion gets fuzzy. This channel is not my favorite but you can make interesting things if you play with it. Excursion A- B. Always use the Escursion switches on "L" if you use them in "T" OR "M" you will comprees the amp and it would sounds really bad specially the clean channel that even with "L" switch sounds compressed.
Presence/Excursion. Both switches interact together. My set up is to assign the presence B switch to channel 1. This will means that presence B and Excursion B will work only for the clean channel and Presence A will work for both blue and red channels.

Vetta II Combo Features. 150-watts stereo; 2x12' Custom Celestion® Speaker – brilliant, versatile speakers custom-voiced to handle any sound you can create.
I keep the presence of the clean channel very low and the presence A for Blue and Red channel at 1. O clock. If you leave the presence B switch on "o" presence A will work for 3 channels and you don't want to do that. Gain Boost 1: If you are using the bogner foot controller leave the switch in L so when you press the boost option on the foot controller you will put more drive. Clean boost is awful, too much Decibels up with no dynamics and 0 response. It simple dosen't work. Pre EQ Channel 1: I leave it in "o" Both b. Plexi mode: Plexi mode is nice.
When you assign this switch to ether blues or red channel it reduce gain and makes your dist into an overdrive. I don't use this option because I feel that I lose dynamics. If you want a plexi tone put an overdrive or dist pedal on the clean channel and it will work better. Structure: This switch is extremely IMPORTANT. If you put the switch on L it means that both blue and red channels would change the drive to less.
The amp would get really with too much bass, you will lost dynamics, response and sensible touch. I Use the switch on "H" As we all want that bogner ripping overdrive and distortion sound with a lot of gain and full response this is the way it should be! Gain Boost channel 2- 3: For the red and blue channel it puts a lot of drive into it which I would prefer having a control for that because is too much BUT is a good option that the amp gives you. Put the switch on L if you are using the bogner controller,Pre EQ channel 3: I use this on "O"Pre EQ Channel 2.
You can use it on "o" or B2, B1 will add gain, mids and high frequencies.- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Back. Always use your Fx Loop on series. Fx loop master Vol should be set by hearing that when you turn off the loop by the footswitch or by hand the vol dosen't go up or down. Use the amp en NEW mode. Old mode would give you a weaker sound.
Always play on full power and if you have the option to set the amp on Class A or AB just but the AB option. If you don't have the switch to put that option it menas that the amp comes on AB class by factory default.
